Each evening will start with a quick warm up session before splitting you into 2 groups.

Each group will have a dedicated trainer who will explain what will be happening for the remainder of the evening.

During the sessions your trainers will give you the opportunity to ask questions and don’t be afraid to ask as there is no such thing as a daft question.

Before session 1

To get the best out of the course you should be aware of the BWF Laws of badminton, you can download a copy from here, and although we do not expect you to know everything, for lesson 1, you are focusing on section 9.

After each session

After each session you will be given access to documentation comprising: a reminder of the key learning points from the session, links to relevant video/s* to back up that learning and a note of what rules you should read up on for the next session.

* Please note – there is an unimaginable quantity of videos on the internet covering all aspects of the game – These range from excellent to totally useless and wrong (remember most of the people posting the videos are earning from these videos) It can be very hard for even an experienced club player to identify which videos are suitable for their standard of play and aspirations. We have no affiliation to any of the owners/producers of the videos that we provide the links for and just look for ones that are suitable for the level we are training at.
